Fall is here!

What's your favorite part about fall?

I love the changing weather and the growing excitement of the holidays soon to come. Pumpkin patches, pumpkin spice, falling leaves, spooky movies, and getting cozy indoors.

For me, fall also seems to boost the creative juices. It's often when I begin writing something new.

On Location in England

In 2016, my wife and I had the privilege of touring the Cotswolds, whose villages inspired my novel's fictional setting of Upper Dyrnan.

Some of the many towns we visited included Chipping Campden, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Upper & Lower Slaughter, but it was the off-the-beaten-path, map-dot villages — far from the tourist radar — that highlighted that glorious, undefiled, yet secluded setting I desired.

I've posted some photos (as well as excerpts from the book!) on my website.
