The audiobook version of my memoir "Blind Pony As True A Story As I Can Tell" is now available on Audible. Not being a professional narrator, it was challenging for me, but it was also an emotional deep dive. And if you know my story, you know it involves a lot of accents which over the years since the story took place, I've become a bit rusty! But I hope you will enjoy it.

A lot of people have been asking me if I plan to release an audiobook. The answer is yes! It will be released in November! If you know of my book, you know there are a lot of accents in it. I did my best to stay true to the story without it becoming laughable! But it was quite a challenge! I have so much respect for the amazing voices that have brought some of my favorite books to life! It truly is a skill all it's own. Like everything in life, sometimes you need to let go. So it's finished, I did my best, and I hope you like it!!

This is fun! Zibby Owens has nominated Blind Pony in the first ever Zibby Awards for "Best Spine." Zibby Awards is a new award that celebrates the under-appreciated parts of the book and book world.Blind Pony was selected from HUNDREDS of submissions!

Winners will be announced on October 4th in an in-person (Covid-willing) event in New York.

I am excited to share that Blind Pony: As True A Story As I Can Tell was just announced as the WINNER of the New York Book Festival in the Wild Card Category!!

When I wrote this memoir, I never expected to publish it let alone win awards. I wrote it as a catharsis, but it has become much more. It's enabled me to free myself of a lot of bad energy I carried around with me, and it has encouraged me pursue a goal I've had since I was a kid—to be a writer. I can't wait to share my next book. A novel, with the working title, The Capricious Life of Charlie Lane.
