Writing Magazine Article.

Very excited to receive my copy of 'Writing Magazine' today to find that they have published a profile and background to 'THE THIRTEENTH TORMENT' under the heading 'Inside Information'.

The article details how the book was written based on my experiences as a Specialist Child Protection Officer in the Police, giving a different voice to the novel.

I am thrilled with the publication and look forward to seeing what response there might be.

Publicity is a difficult game - and I'm happy to take any help I can get!

The Best Characters?

I am always amazed at the feedback from readers when discussing characters from 'The Thirteenth Torment'. It never occurred to me when I wrote DC Steve Astman into the book that female readers would not only decide they 'fancied him a bit' but when faced with a question about his development in the next book of the series, decided they wanted him to get into more trouble!

Most talked about scene with Steve? The one where he helps rescue a baby.....

Is his heart in the right place? Or is he just career climbing his way around the specialist departments, ticking each one off on his 'to do' list?

Don't worry ladies - he'll make a return, and is bound to get into more scrapes!
