A few people have asked me where I came up with the idea of Wolf Wild.
Wolf is the kind of character that just forces his way into your head. I was driving home from work one afternoon and all of a sudden, the idea for the opening scene came into my head, and it just kept beating at me all night. Finally, at about ten in the evening, I sat down to write it. And it just flowed from there.
When I started out writing him, he was abrupt and gruff, and a bit of an A**hole, for lack of a better term. But then, as I started writing him and exploring his relationship with Ember, he evolved into this guy that knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it. With a few a**hole tendencies still in there.
Wolf wasn't modeled after anyone in particular, but more of an idea. I have been writing since I was a kid, and I always seemed to do better when I was writing about big men with alpha attitudes and the strong women that can take them.
If you haven't read Wolf's story, it's available on Amazon and free through Kindle Unlimited. Give it a try!
