Steve M. Potter has been teaching since 1986 at the university level. He won the top teaching award at Georgia Tech in 2011, and in 2013, the top teaching award across all research universities in Georgia for his innovative real-world approaches to enhance student learning and motivation. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University, where he and his research group carried out pioneering neuroengineering research since 2002 (https://potterlab.gatech.edu).
