Grateful for 2020 Looking Forward to 2021
"So glad I made it" words and tune is all I can hear ringing in my ear from our NYE worship service tonight at Rose Hill Church Port Allen. Whew I can't even begin to fully wrap my mind around all that has transpired throughout this year. So many lessons learned. So many mistakes. So much uncertainty. So much loss and death. Just a lot to fully grasp. But there was also a lot of GRACE. God's unmerited and undeserved favor. I decided my word for 2021 would be GRACE several months ago. I realize so much went wrong in 2020 but God never left us. God was there every step of the way and everything that happened good and bad was allowed.
I celebrated my 39th birthday yesterday and I'm extremely grateful for that blessing. I also had the opportunity to write and publish my 4th book. Next Level Faith: A Message of Hope and Resiliency is my baby I've been working on all year and yesterday I launched it for pre-orders. It officially releases in January 2021. This was one of my goals for this year I tried so very hard to accomplish before the end of the year and God seen me through it. All the times I started and stopped, got stuck with writer's block from time to time but I made it. This year was definitely one for the books but through it all God kept me and my family circle was not broken. I Made It!
