The following are some things that I have done to try to get inspiration :
First, to pray. It is my goal to write to honor God and the Lord Jesus so I figure that should be asking them what they want me to write on a regular basis.
Second, I sometimes take walks in the woods.
Third, if all else fails then I will ask myself "what is the very next thing that will happen in the story?" Many times it's a very mundane and uninteresting thing but at least it gets me writing and eventually will lead me to the next interesting thing that I need to write about. (When I get my inspiration again I usually go back and remove the mundane and uninteresting stuff.)(less)
