I consider myself a digital phenomenologist, and an aspiring polymath. But I could more accurately be described as a Gen X malcontent. I currently work in marketing, mostly for tech companies, but I have also been an entrepreneur-in-residence at a venture capital firm, a mountain bike tour guide, and once owned a skateboard shop in Las Vegas. I am a husband, and father of three children and one rescue greyhound. I live in the mountains east of Seattle.

The Gate of the Feral Gods by Matt Dinniman
"As the levels go up, the complexity goes up. A fortunate side effect is that the characters are being built even more and you get more insight into the universe controlling the game. And just like the last MMORPG I played, I'm hooked and keep wanting" Read more of this review »
The Dragonbone Chair by Tad Williams
"Tad Williams is hands down one of the greatest fantasy authors still writing to this day.

This is one of the smoothest beginnings to the incredibly imaginative and deep world that is Osten Ard. Tad Williams really does tick all the boxes, lovable/hate" Read more of this review »

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
"Four stars for a sci-fi space book from me is the biggest compliment I can give. Funny, compelling, sweet.

But it’s still a space book. "
