Well, the best laid plans of mice and men . . . I had hoped the second book of my Harbin Mystery Series (Special District: Harbin Book 2, The Tigers of East Mountain) would be out this November. But I wanted it to be right, and so it looks it will be out in January instead.
In it main character Borya Melnikov returns after we jump ahead three years to 1932. Still in Harbin, only now the Soviets are on their way out and the Japanese are on the rise. And the new political forces are no stranger to murder and intrigue.

I hope you find the wait worthwhile!

Book 1 of the Harbin Mystery series (Special District: Harbin: Drawing the Tiger's Bones) has been re-released in its third edition with a new cover and corrected text.

The sequel (Special District: Harbin: Book 2, The Tigers of East Mountain) is scheduled for release in November. I think you will enjoy it.
