Darah DeWalt was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. From a young age, she developed a love for reading and writing, always dreaming of becoming an author.
In 2021, she released her debut young adult novel, Battlefield, a story centered on friendship, grief, and found family. She continues to explore emotionally honest themes of love, loss, and self-discovery in her writing.
Her first self-published poetry collection, I Probably Should Have Gone to Therapy, was released in April 2026.
