This deserves a standing ovation!
This was the first book by Amanda Carol that I have read and it definitely won't be the last, if I could rate it ten stars I would.
Dean and Aubrey's story will have you flipping the page quicker than you can blink because their story is that gripping. I won't lie, I wanted throw my kindle so many times while reading this one, and not in a bad one but one those "Why are you doing this to me?!" type of ways!
This one is definitely a slow burn, something I don't typically read because I love having all the smut, but the suspense within the pages is what kept me going. I really loved it and now I'm on edge waiting for May because that's when Amanda will be releasing her second book in the Heroes of River Falls series, Saving Grace! I can't wait to read about Dylan and Cassie, and hopefully see more from Dean and Aubrey as well!
