Best Part Of Being A Mom

We asked our Facebook Fans what is the best part of being a mom.

Here are the responses that we received:

Suzi Rollie Trego: Snuggling!

Lauren Thompson: Everything!!! Sorry that is not specific at all lol. Being a mom is just the best! The love is so overwhelming and it just keeps growing every single day. Getting to look at a real life miracle, every day, never gets old! No one can say miracles don’t exist or come true… Children are the miracles on this Earth. I’m a mommy to a miracle baby girl. She is totally my dream come true!

Hillary Williams DeVisser: Experiencing a love more powerful than I ever dreamed possible.

Jessica Miller Scott: The love that is shared. You feel it and can see it in your child’s eyes. Absolute joy and blessings from God.

Chiree Dilley: The best part about being a mom are the infinite amount of { snuggles and kissies } and learning the most beautiful part of life, which is to learn from your child’s innocence & insight of how they view the world to be

Jewell Johnson: Learning to appreciate each moment, time seems to go so much faster when you have a little one!

Randi-Lee Helm: I agree with all of you! Everything! The love that I see in her eyes and the kisses she gives to mommy and daddy! I also love all the new stuff she learns. She’s one now and I still can’t believe she’s our world and our daughter! So blessed!

Monica Taylor: My 4 are older-21, 20, 18 & 16- just seeing how awesome they have turned out (3 in college) straight laced, hard working goal oriented etc. I am over the moon at the people they have become.

Joanne and Tom Barrett: the hugs, the kisses, their belief that I can do anything.

Laura Smith: Watching them grow  amongst so much more.

Lisa Shaw: whenever they scream “mommy!” and run towards me with arms open for a hug

Andrea Chrisstoffels:  Having “I love you more” wars with them!

LuAnn Britton” The best part of being a mom is when you can look into their eyes and feel the love from deep within their souls, a love that can not be shared with anyone except a mother and a child. Knowing that you are a teacher, a nurse, a counselor, a hero. There’s no greater love in the world a bond that can never be broken. The best part of being a mom is “Love”…

Coni Randall: Finding new ways to make my baby laugh. The pure love that I feel.

Julie Raven Johns:  someone that started out so small and becomes the largest thing in your life. Seeing my daughter’s precious soul evolve. The true joy and love she greets each day with always makes me thankful I am a witness to her life.

Joanna Fowler Zachos : Knowing you are only, and will only ever be the one person that can make it all better.

Kate Preader : saying things to my two year old like, “Thank you for being in my life,” and then hearing her on her own say to me, “Tank you for being my wife…” And having my 4 year old try to convey her feelings when she says, “um, Mama, do you know how much I yub you?” When I ask how much she says, “Um, it’s jus’ wike a heart.” Stirs up real raw emotion that can’t be compared to any other fabulous thing in the world! It’s just the best there is.

Jen Rice Maley: The absolute, unconditional love and adoration my son and I have for each other.

Ruth Armitage: There is always something to look forward to, even if it is the end a certain ‘phase’.

Amanda Doyle Thomas: When I go get my baby out of his crib first thing in the morning and he gives me a grin from ear to ear, he says mama, and the hug I get as I pick him up. I love those first few quiet moments when the world is on pause and it’s just the three of us… my little family.

Kalie Andrews Rubber: frogs in bathtub drains and having lunch in pillow forts. I am loving every minute of it. The bottles of bubble bath filled up with bath water to replace the entire bottle being used in 2 minutes. When they just seem to melt into your arms.

Amy Tillman Wilkins: I love it when my baby stops feeding just to smile up at me! I love peanut butter and jelly on little hands as they clap in rhythm to my song at lunch. I love smelly feet that never can seem to finds socks to stay on them! But the best things are the after wakeup snuggles. I just love being a mommy!

Liz Zimbelman: Grandchildren! Especially when your children turn out to be outstanding parents.

Wonderful And Silly Things Kids Say During Prayer

I wanted to share with you some of the responses we got on the Nancy Tillman Facebook page. We asked people to tell us what funny or wonderful things their kids had said during prayer.

Joanne and Tom Barrett wrote: “Our 5 year old said, “God Bless all those kids I met at Nan’s, whose names I don’t know.”

Kimberly Bloomfield Hostutler wrote: “My daughter prays for Darth Vader to be good and for God to help him be Anakin Skywalker again.”

Mary Pat Michalek Bielecki wrote: “My son prayed for his bad dreams to go away, fell asleep, dreamed again, and woke up shouting, “Come on, God! You TRICKED ME!”

Jessica Cox wrote: “Our son Cade, 8 years: “God, please forgive us for our sins and help my mommy buy me a new Piston Cup Lightning McQueen!”

Nancy Gibbins Roberts wrote: “When my daughter Twila was 3 she was saying her bed time prayer and here is what she said “God, I thank you because one day my head is going to get so big, it’ll be bigger than you, God. Just kidding that would be silly.” There is a little lost without her inflection, but it was one of the funny ones!

Christie Rudd wrote: “My son, who is two, regularly prays for Thomas (as in the tank engine) and during the holiday, Santa Claus. His Granddaddy is always #1 when he says them on his own. I have to prompt him to include myself and my husband!”
