I am a plus-size woman who has struggled with my weight and self-image for years.

How many people are the 'black sheep' of the family because of your size?

That's me. I am the biggest out of my entire family and have been subject to comments such as 'You need to get out walking', 'You need to exercise', or I don't exist in their 'perfect little worlds' because who wants to be seen with a fat person.

This past Mother's Day, one of my family members posted a video tagging all the mothers & mothers-to-be a happy Mother's Day.
I have a 14-year-old son, but again, I don't exist.

Not one person in my family has supported my writing or bought my books, except for my mom, who bought the 'His Angel' trilogy series. Since then, I have released 3 more books, which she does not ask about.

Not to mention, I have been compared to my sister for years, which is 'perfect' in everyone's eyes and, of course, half my size.

Because of all these factors, I do not like going out in public or posting videos for marketing my books with me in it. I loathe shopping for clothes and I suffer from depression.

My writing is a way for me to escape.

To have the fairytale fantasy but with 'His Curvy Obsession', I wanted to incorporate some of my challenges/experiences of what plus-size women can go through and what society places on us and the pressures or difficulties women struggle with every day.

My hope for this book is to provide the perfect amount of realism, but also give the reader the opportunity to escape with all the 'feel-goods' a steamy romance should offer.
