Darcy Lee (she/her) is an author from South Georgia, USA, who writes about resilience, survival, and a little magic. After completing Peace Corps service in Ecuador, Darcy’s passion for human rights and storytelling led her to write The Heart of Auschwitz (Goldmann, April 2025), her debut novel based on the true story of her grandparents’ survival during the Holocaust. Her poem “So It Began in Every Woman” appeared in Madam President (B Cubed Press, June 2024), and she is currently working on a fantasy series where some dreams build kingdoms—while others burn them to the ground.

When she’s not writing, Darcy can be found hiking, watching movies, or eating as much chocolate as she can find.
