I'd tell all aspiring writers (to some extent I still see myself as one) to never be afraid of what might happen.
Ever. There are always many questions you'd ask yourself before you start writing a book, even more once you've already began working on the manuscript, or drafting it, and those question don't decrease over time, or when it's finished. On the contrary. They just change.
I had lunch with a very close friend of mine and I was telling her about my idea to write a book. I thought that was a completely absurd and ludicrous plan at the time. I also expected nothing to come out of it. Bus she said only one thing- 'just don't be afraid.'
I'm trying to repeat that to myself whenever I'm uncertain about writing and the reason of my uncertainty is my fear of rejection.
Just be brave, everything else will happen as it should, one step at a time(less)

I'm often tilting towards the same authors or genres I like and follow, but recently I am mostly spending time researching and reading non-fiction (I'm becoming more and more boring in my tastes in the past months, maybe)
However, I do have a 'to-read' list, which is not as extensive as I wish it would be. It includes everything that historical romance writers, such as K.J Charles, are planning to publish this year and I am definitely reading more from Mary Renault. The more I read her works, the more I realize how brilliant she is.
I am a huge, huge fan of Yoneda Kou- I keep saying this- so I'll be on the lookout for more art from her.
