The Legend of The Wizardland
In the very middle of the road one can see...only sand. A bizarre incongruity, a long pathway about a shovel width sand filled all over the street with offshoots into open doorways of some of the shops, windows and motor-cars on either side covered in dust, the place seemed frozen but in sand. There was no movement. Devon stopped his stroll just before the entrance of this sand filled street, his eyes widened, his eyebrows slanted upwards and he left open mouthed while that sight left him flustered for a moment. Devon looked at the street, that street was filled with a strange ill feeling, making people want to stay away from it. His consciousness was telling him to shy away from the danger that is about to come, if he enters that street. But for someone haunting the dangers down, that was a sign of welcome. With a grin on his face Devon started stepping on the sand filled path. His steps are almost silent. After passing over around three houses and one grocery store. Somewhere nearby, a strained breath followed by swish of footsteps in sand probably in direction of the store. Devon’s attention is now caught by that grocery store. He gazes the entrance of the store, someone or something have definitely entered the store. He moves closer to the store and stops at its entrance and examines the door, ‘A human being, probably a female’ he murmurs to himself and enters the store. The store is full of stock with large number of aisles but all full of dust.
