I find it curious, as well as interesting, that some 70% of active readers between the ages of 13 and (something like) 35 are female. I'm assuming this means that the other 30% are males, but being a male, and having been a generally unwilling reader for many of those years, I wouldn't be wholly surprised to learn that we share that 30% with...I don't know, high-achieving chimps, the odd alien, and someone at the statistics department who felt bad for us and goosed our numbers a bit.
Anyway, girls are clearly awesome, so do your best to convince more of your guy friends to read.

I admit I've fallen quite behind on my reading, but I have a pretty good excuse for it. Well, I have an okay excuse for it. Writing is a pretty draining endeavor, and my eyes and brain don't want me to keep using them afterward. They still work, and they're happy to watch something on the television. But they're pretty reluctant to read.
Also, I have a cat.
