K. Thomas is a human, not a talking cat.
"Time to Wake" was her first novel. She meant to publish one sooner, but fell in love with her day job. Unlike her main character, she likes numbers and budgets almost as much as she likes words.

Her debut novel Time to Wake received a warm literary welcome with five star reviews from IndieReader and Readers' Favorite, as well as being awarded the 2021 Readers' Favorite Silver Medal in the New Adult Genre.

I Like Stories

I like stories. I can and will easily overlook flaws or typos in a book if the author manages to make me experience a connection to the characters. Even better if I feel like I've somehow connected to the author through their work.

It's more important to get the impression that the author worked hard to share a story they love than to find perfection in a book.

These books are absolute binge reads!

I just finished the first book a few days ago, and had to wait until the weekend to start the second because I knew I needed time to binge it after mistakingly starting the first on a Monday!

Amazing, great lore, slow-burn romance , high-paced plot!

This book is officially in my top favorites. Character voice and banter is always my first draw to a story, and this one starts strong. You know exactly which characters are in the scene witho

Nice pace, creative use of lore!

Great story that starts out strong with an interesting scene in full lore. The author uses a creative combination of time gap, “historian” tidbits, and changing POVs to tell the story. Despite having intricate lore, th

Fantasy that has a little fun!

I remember the author joking online about promising fantasy characters with names you couldn’t pronounce. And I definitely can’t, but that kind of poking-fun pops up in subtle ways all through the book, which really help

Incredible Fantasy with First Person Narration

I knew I was going to love this book just from the summary and it did not disappoint. It’s an urban/alternative reality fantasy, written in first person. That was an immediate win, because that narration

Just a high quality series

It’s not easy to leave a spoiler-free review of a series like this, because everything fun about it I don’t want to ruin for you! The third book may be my favorite of the three. The covers drew me in, but the MC kept me read

More of a Puzzle than Horror

Excellently entertaining to read and hard to put down, this story was never what I expected when I turned the page!

I went in bracing for this to be a jump scare story and instead it crossed somewhere between I Am Legend (t
