Is it worth the hype? Is my rating for this book biased because I had always longed for insecure academia characters to relate to?

Yes to both.

I have witnesses who could prove to you that I came into this book with my expectations on the floor because I almost always end up painstakingly and frustratingly disappointed by books with a lot of hype surrounding book. I had never been more glad
