Kaycee fell in love with reading in elementary school with Sweet Valley and The Baby-Sitters Club and began scrawling her own stories shortly after. When she’s not writing, she’s dancing at concerts of the bands she loved when she was 16, going on long walks, or taking baths. Kaycee also talks about Young Adult Fiction in the podcast she co-hosts, To All the YA I've Loved Before, with her childhood best friend. She lives in a high-rise in Chicago with her husband, Ryan, and their two orange cats Gambit and Beast.

A truly magnificent book that will capture both young and older readers alike. I loved the way this brought together myth and storytelling from so many different places and times. Erik D. Larson is an amazing storyteller.
