Kaycee fell in love with reading in elementary school with Sweet Valley and The Baby-Sitters Club and began scrawling her own stories shortly after. When she’s not writing, she’s dancing at concerts of the bands she loved when she was 16, going on long walks, or taking baths. Kaycee also talks about Young Adult Fiction in the podcast she co-hosts, To All the YA I've Loved Before, with her childhood best friend. She lives in a high-rise in Chicago with her husband, Ryan, and their two orange cats Gambit and Beast.

As always, beautiful writing from Alice Hoffman. The story itself really held me through the first act, but quickly lost me. Still, a fast read with lovely prose.
