Rebekka taught herself to read English by reading Harry Potter. She was six.
Born in Norway in 1992, Rebekka grew up among frozen hills and hot stews. She learned to build fires in school and cross-country skied on the weekends. Then, she found skateboarding and, through it, her husband.
After graduating with an M.D. in Behavior Analysis, she moved to San Diego, California. Surrounded by sand, palm trees, and spicy foods, Rebekka found the contrasts inspiring. Then, COVID hit. Unable to leave and unable to work, a story fell into her mind. And so, stuck in a foreign land, she began writing her debut, Shattered Ice.
