Ann-Catrin Mattsson writes dark folklore romance and historical fantasy with a mythical undertone. In her family saga Earthborn (Jordfödd), she weaves together forbidden longing, ancient bloodlines, and the raw reality of war. She writes from the forests of Dalsland in western Sweden, where the land carries memory and old magic still seems to pulse beneath the surface.

Where Earth Remembers (Dotter av jord) is the first installment in the Earthborn series, followed by Omen Before Dawn (Varsel i natten), Legacy of the East (Arvet från öst), and Whispers Through the Veil (Viskningar ur dimman).
