Jenn Bouchard's debut novel FIRST COURSE was published in 2021 by TouchPoint Press and has now been published in a second edition. It has been the recipient of fourteen awards and distinctions, including two Eric Hoffer awards. It was released in audiobook from Tantor Audio in 2023. Her short stories have appeared in the Bookends Review, Litbreak Magazine, the Penmen Review, the Little Patuxent Review, MARY, and FOLIO. Her second novel CONSIDERING US was published in 2025 with Black Rose Writing. It was the 2025 winner in romantic comedy with the American Fiction Awards. PALMS ON THE CAPE will be released on July 2, 2026, also with Black Rose Writing.

I highly recommend listening to this on audiobook. It’s especially riveting hearing the story directly from the author.

Caitlin Moss is a must-read for me. This book is so endearing and ultimately magical in many ways. There is so much to love.
