J.S. fell in love with the magic of stories as a child and has been obsessed with them ever since. Her 2016 “Wolf” poem was recognized by Indiana’s poet laureate. After being instructed to write only stories that "spread fear, hate, and anger" for several news publications, she became disgusted and left the industry. Though diagnosed with epilepsy after suffering a stroke at age 25, she hasn’t let that stop the pursuit of her dreams. She is the author of the recently published novel, “Darkness Whispers,” and is currently at work on the hundreds of story ideas living in her imagination. J.S. lives with her husband and their cat near Phoenix, AZ.
