He has served as a Co-founder, Board Member, Investor in several web-based startups ranging in industry verticals – social networking platform (music industry), group buying (localized deals) and e-commerce (CPG).

Finding time can often be a challenge for writers, myself included. Therefore, I've discovered that having a routinized time of writing at 5:30am until 8:30am (when I am writing a book), seems to work the best for me. Why? It's quiet, there's no distractions from e-mails, phone calls, and other daily obligations - it's just you and the screen or notebook. One way to unlock writer's block, is to write about something that makes you emotional. Emotions drive creativity, and creativity unlocks the muse within to really let loose and not care what others think about your art. Writing, like any other creative pursuit, can be stymied when we anticipate how others will perceive and/or judge our creative expression. The key to break through that, I've found, is to write from strength, honesty, and from your true voice. If you're authentic with yourself, the reader will appreciate your candor, your sincerity, and even your willingness for self-deprecating humor even. The goal of writing could be to inspire others, to share knowledge, to ignite a creative flame inside of the reader's imagination, or even to make the reader feel a little bit more connected to something greater than themselves, vis a vis your content. When you write without a care in the world, your inner voice comes forth, and you can more astutely pass along your message in an organic, unencumbered way. I think writer's block is something that arises most often when we're thinking about how we are going to be judged, when in reality, the key to breaking past that is to put your reader in the driver's seat and guide them to where they really need to go to improve their lives, business, emotions, etc. (less)
