Elle Driver's Blog: Trying Writing (Again)

The GOOD news is I am excited to wrap up my day job and finish uploading CABIN FOR TWO to Radish, as well as working on my current WIP. The good news is I know exactly what is happening next in my WIP and I know the ending. Good news is I am kinda creeping into some writing communities on Twitter and TikTok. I know. I can't believe my old ass is figuring out TikTok, either. (I'm 36, by the way.)

The BAD news is I am very suddenly getting pelted with ideas and half stories and scenes from everywhere. Lost lovers, spies, werewolves, elves, I think they're all interesting, too.

But I am worried about being able to give one project the attention it needs.

Why is it always all the way on or all the way off?

Hi, I'm Elle. I write romance mostly. And I have recently gained access to my author page here on Goodreads, which feels like such a big win. When I saw that there was a blog option, I jumped. I used to keep a blog! I used to keep a few. I used to do a lot of things, I guess.

But I'm trying to put some good habits back into place now. That counts for something, right? :)

So on this building-good-habits-try-to-be-an-author journey, I am republishing my books on the Radish app. I'm commissioning new covers. Making playlists. Pinterest boards. Finding whatever feels good!

And I'm writing a new book that I totally jumped the gun and published the first chapter on Radish already. I should have waited until I had much more done, but now I need to catch up! It's exciting. I'm excited.

I hope this blog can keep me honest. Ha.
