It’s official – UNGIFTED is now a trilogy!

I’m so thrilled that HYPERGIFTED is out today – and also confused because I’m not sure whether or not I should move UNGIFTED, SUPERGIFTED, and HYPERGIFTED to the series section of my website.

But for now, I’m not going to stress about that. I’m just happy to bring the latest story about Donovan, Noah, and friends into the world. I had so much fun returning to these characters!

I can’t wait to see how readers enjoy HYPERGIFTED!

I’m proud to report that SNOOP, which is already a NY Times, Indie, and USA Today bestseller, has just been named an Amazon Best Book of 2025!

Not since the days of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1950s movie Read Window has spying on your neighbors generated so much excitement! (And since that was my inspiration for SNOOP, you might want to give that old classic a watch.)

Okay, the red panda on the cover doesn’t seem that amped up, but I sure am. I’m beyond thrilled that so many readers are loving SNOOP!

Okay, maybe “happy” isn’t exactly the right word. As a kid, I used to fight it every September, even though – as an only child – I really looked forward to school so I could be surrounded by other people again.

Nowadays, my favorite part of fall is getting back to my school visits. I did my first one when I was fourteen, so this has been part of my life forever. It was an amazing “Summer of Snoop” but it’s September now, time to hit the road. Who knows – maybe I’ll be coming to your school, or m...

I’m so thrilled to spread the news about HYPERGIFTED, the third book in the series that began with UNGIFTED and SUPERGIFTED, coming in February.

School has never been a problem for Noah Youkilis, the smartest kid at the all-gifted Academy of Scholastic Distinction – at least not until he gets an admission letter from Wilderton University. The last thing he wants is to go from middle school straight into college. Why can’t his life just be normal?

I’m super-pumped to report that SNOOP is an instant NY Times and Indie bestseller! Amazing to hear that readers are embracing this one so soon!

It’s finally here!

Even though SNOOP is now out in the world, I still can’t explain why there’s a red panda on the cover. It would be a gross violation of Spoiler Alert. All I can say is it’s pretty amazing what you can see if you look hard enough.

I can’t wait to hear how everybody enjoys SNOOP!

Okay the headline says it all, but I’m still really proud of this honor from NPR. There aren’t a lot of kids’ books on the list, so to see FAKER in such impressive company is a wonderful feeling!
