What I Stuffed in the Trunk, and the Road of 2026 ahead...
Good Morning! It's 2026, lets get this year started! For those of you who only get my news on the blog, here I am again, writing a entry in real time. I woke up this morning, thankful for that, and it's a new year. I've taken the past year, learned from it, and arose from a deep, rested sleep, on this January 1st with more motivation than ever, hoping that it continues this new year. I know I've mentioned some loss in 2025, but I also gained a lot. I've gained some experience with new...

The Real Cost of Full-Time RV Living: Tim Eagle's 2024 vs. 2025 Comparison
This topic never gets old, and is continuously searched for: Is it cheaper living in an RV than living in a house, apartment or mobile home? I have some answers for all of you from my full time RV life. Today I'm discussing: My Expenses Compared to Last Year A Briefing on How These prices are Livable and How I do it. The Results are In, 52 Years : Love, Loss and Letting Go
This year has been a dark one, a year that ended in the passing of our best friend, and travel buddy, Cocoa, and a loss of yet another family member who left our fold. I will endure the heart ache and wish the best to who left us, because they deserve a good life. I’ve learned a lot in my fifty-two years. I live life the way I want to. I speak the truth, I love everyone, and I move forward with a purpose to grow and learn as much as possible. I’ve faced a lot of hurt, but that hurt did not...

An Unusual Encounter During a Sunset Drive in the Everglades, and more...
It's an overcast day here in the "Glades." I'm staring out the window at some palm trees and a gray sky as I write this. The day might be overcast, but that's okay. Down here in the swamplands when the clouds cover the sun we're in for perfect temperature and it gives the Mothership's air conditioning, and our increased melatonin, a tiny break. Oh, the unusual encounter is an alligator who's dinner was interrupted, picture is in the photo dump below. We absolutely love sunset strolls through...

Swampland Arrival, Gators Welcome
We arrived at our home for a few months. The very place that featured a 2000's video of the Skunkape . I navigated the Mothership out of the last of civilization which was, Naples, Florida, and branched onto Taimiami Trail. The land grew devoid of anything but some traffic, evident that we were heading toward desolation. Businesses and signs of life became less and less as swampy land surrounded the road on either side. There was cane grass, palms of several varieties, pines, cypress and...

Skyway Bridge, Views We See in the Full Time RV Life
Maria and I always love driving up the Skyway Bridge. Sitting in our "Captain's " chairs we are high enough to see over the sides and enjoy the views of the beautiful water below. I had to quickly snap this picture because we took a short break and stretched for a spell on our way to the final destination. I stood by the water and took in a deep breath of the salty air, listened to the birds flying over the warm blue water, and enjoyed the sun's rays on my skin. I took it all in, because the...
