Renee Popova has been a direct-entry midwife serving the Amish and “English” for over 30 years. Midwife Memories is her homage to all of the families she has attended and the babies she has caught. Midwife Memories brings the reader into the lives of women birthing their babies and sharing their stories. Although Renee is not Amish, she was welcomed into the community and became a vital member who participated in family activities and minor medical fixes along with bringing babies into the family.
