Hello, reader! I'm Michaela Trueman, an enthusiastic author who was born in Essex, raised in Essex, and lives in Essex with one mum, no pets, and no spouses.

I have always aspired to be an author and have made up stories and told them to anyone who will listen ever since I could talk. Thankfully for my friends, relatives, and anyone who talks to me for more than five minutes, I discovered notepads, which proved to be a much more receptive audience. I have since moved on to Microsoft Word, simply because it is more practical (sorry stationery. I still love you).

I self-published my debut novel, Cue Romance, set in Colchester, Essex, in twenty-twenty-one. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

An interesting slow-burn love story featuring a heart-warming sense of community.

The concept of this is very sweet, something I've never read before. I liked that this book is about so much more than romance. It was lovely to see new friendships form
