My new crime thriller....The lies we were Promised....is out now on Amazon!

Kerensa Oldfield is shocked to find herself captured by human traffickers, after a search for her missing father Kaian leads her to a sleepy backwater town in Southern India.

See what a recent review from Amazon had to say:
'This book addresses an extremely difficult subject in a well constructed story of a family torn apart from one act.
It’s gripping, The pace is fantastic and the characters well rounded. Kerensa’s journey to uncover the truth gripped me from the start
Fabulous book.' ...more

Hi Rachel, Congratulations on the book. I hope to read your book soon after I get out of my home town where I am sort of stuck due to pandemic. Do you have any tips on how to reach a wider audience? or getting reviews about the book? I strongly believe in the content of my book, but being a first-time author I am finding it hard. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your question and many congrats on your new novel! I would say to definitely start a facebook page where you can talk about the story, post reviews etc. Once you build up a base there, people will start adding other and then this will help with exposure. Also, do advertise on linkedin, twitter and Instagram Subrahmanya-these are all free and there are book groups where you can showcase your work. Hope this helps.
all the best, Rachel(less)

“What does it matter if they’re weeds? They’re pretty all the same. In fact, I’d call them special compared to flowers. Weeds are stronger. They dominate. They grow everywhere, and some are just as pretty as any flower, but people still toss them aside because of what they are. It’s the title that does it, I think.”
