Chris Atkin is an author and freelance journalist.

Since working for five years in the television studios at Sky News and BT Sport in London, Chris has written for a number of publications including The Times, The Huffington Post and Metro.

He reads books from a range of genres, but he particularly enjoys coming-of-age tales and sporting narratives.

An exciting tale bearing similarities to Forsyth’s first book. It isn’t quite as good, but that says more about the brilliance of The Day of the Jackal than any major flaw in this particular narrative.

Judd uses an interesting literary device to tell the story, but I’m not sure it best serves the plot. The pace was plodding throughout and the narrative left me indifferent.
