Last year, the police were vilified, never given the benefit of the doubt and it seemed like everyone from the media, celebrities to spineless politicians were calling to defund the police. 2. That was extremely unfair, and historically you never heard from small town, middle America police officers. I wanted to give them a voice. 3. Most people don’t realize what they go through on a daily basis, and the intensity on the job. They deal with criminals and violent behavior so the average American doesn’t have to. That’s the point of their job. I wrote this book so the reader could see their perspective, which is not told by the media. (less)
