Tiffany was born and raised in a small town in Muskoka, Ontario, spending much of her childhood outdoors. She moved to attend McMaster University for Psychology at age seventeen. After university, she met her husband, and rather than pursuing a career, opted to stay at home to raise their two daughters. Since 2013 she has homeschooled her girls, and as they became more independent in their learning, Tiffany was seeking out ways to make use of her time. She opted to study to become a freelance proofreader since she was a voracious reader.
