Jared L. Fehr is a Canadian author and horticulturist. Fehr is the youngest of four. He spent his first fourteen years in North Central Saskatchewan on the edge of the boreal forest in what he remembers as peaceful solitude, and his family’s move to Calgary Alberta is a defining moment of his life.

Moving to a large city from the remoteness of country life shaped his horticulture career and his personal love of writing, both tools, helping him escape back to solitude.

His writing, insightful and contemplative, was always written for himself as he went through numerous life changes. However, after seeing how his personal writing has helped people close to him over the years, he is beginning to open up his work to the outside world.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Fehr I’m not sure I’ve experienced this before, for me - I simply write when I’m able to, usually I have so many ideas I want to get out of my head it’s ha…moreI’m not sure I’ve experienced this before, for me - I simply write when I’m able to, usually I have so many ideas I want to get out of my head it’s hard to focus on just one.
Having a busy life where I actually need to make time just to write naturally eliminates writers block for me as I’m itching to actually have the time to write and clear my mind.(less)
