Recognizing God’s Love in Our Temper Tantrums

Choosing To Look Beyond the Outward Appearance

I assumed we had nothing in common.

She was a young stylist, and I was her client. My first impression was that we talked differently, had dissimilar backgrounds, and would probably never be friends outside of the salon. I am ashamed to say I judged her appearance and speech as being less than my own.

A Gentle Nudging at the Right Time

Building a Secure Attachment Style With God

“I have an insecure attachment style,” I wrote in my journal.

I had recently been researching the different types of “attachment styles,” a psychological term for how our primary caregivers’ engagement with us as infants can impact our adult relationships. I learned that our family of origin can set us up to have secure attachments or insecure ones.
