Reading Jerusalem Interlude
Currently I'm reading through the 4th book in the Zion Covenant series, Jerusalem Interlude, and thought I'd put done a few of my thoughts about it.
This book includes a ton of backstory for characters from the Zion Chronicles series, which I've read through entirely and thoroughly enjoyed. So it's pretty neat to see what happened to these characters before then, but also very sad when you think about what will happen to these characters later on.
I find that now I want to say 'Oy,' now. It's such a fun Jewish word, used all the time in this book.
So far, I've enjoyed my journey through this series. See you next time!

Of Alfie in Danzig Passage
I've just meant one of my favorite characters in this book! His name is Alfie, which fits him perfectly. (Warning, possible spoilers from here on out)
He's such a dear boy. Well, okay, he's actually a teenager, but he has the mind of little boy. Which is why the Germans wish to kill him, but thankfully he escapes.
He's just so endearing, so charming and innocent in a world full of violence. He's just trying to understand the world he lives in. But I'm not sure I want him to understand it.
It's his innocence that actually ends up saving him from the Germans. It's like they're too smart to really understand him!
Course, I say this mid-way through the book... Nothing had better happen to him. If it does I'll just... 😭

Writing About Books
A small blog where I write about books :) I might post reviews, thoughts about writing, etc. It's going to be a little random, but hopefully fun.
