LuAnn M. Rod I got my idea from my neighbor Myrtle. She grew up in Montana and, as a very young girl, dreamed of running away and joining the rodeo. She was funny …moreI got my idea from my neighbor Myrtle. She grew up in Montana and, as a very young girl, dreamed of running away and joining the rodeo. She was funny and spunky even as an older woman, and it was my joy to reimagine a similar character in Maddie McDowell.(less)
