Happy New Year!
I'd like to wish all my readers and followers a memorable 2018 where you make great strides in all your goals, health missions and passions.
Thank you for reading and sharing my novels and stories these past couple of years, and I am excited to have more in store for you in the future. I will be working on the publication of my next novel, SPEAKING OF SUMMER, as well as more stories and a new novel I am patiently awaiting to arrive to me.
I've started off the new year re-reading Susan Sontag's extended essay REGARDING THE PAIN OF OTHERS, one of my favorites I was oddly drawn back to. I am also making my way through Luis Rodriguez's National Book Award-nominated memoir IT CALLS YOU BACK. Though they were both written years ago, somehow they both seem relevant and timely now, and I am drawing power from them.
Please visit my blog Negression for expansions and more new community efforts from there. Sometimes I look out into the world and there is just so much to write about I get overwhelmed and can't write a thing. I plan to change that in 2018, and plow through the negativity and stress of our times to share my voice much more.
Blessings.
