Two years have passed. Two years since the Mark, since Merythalis changed the shape of the known world.

Life since the “Incident” has been anything but normal. The relationship strained nearly to breaking and life collapsing around them, the two are thrown into an untenable situation, caught between political ambitions and supernatural forces, all focused on Piri and an ancient order that could destroy everything they know.

The Enpirion Project: Exordium was a semi-finalist in the North Street Book Awards. Of nearly 2000 entries, it was in the top 4%! This is a pretty prestigious award specifically for indie authors and to be a semi-finalist is pretty big news and had me super excited. :)

I've been asked on a number occasions what the difference is between the various versions of The Enpirion Project: Exordium...so here's a breakdown!

Hardback: 1st Edition Printing with dustjacket, includes over 200 illustrations and 3 paintings

Paperback: 2nd Edition Printing, includes a glossary, map, and all the same illustrations/paintings as the hardback

ebook: typical, reflowable text-only version, NO illustrations (I try to actively discourage people from this version as the art is a big part of the experience)

Special Edition ebook: only available on the official webstore, this is a direct copy of the physical book and includes all the illustrations and paintings (in full color); iPad Only

Q: Why don't you update the hardback to match the paperback?
A: To update the hardback with the glossary and map (and fix the one freaking grammatical mistake that's driving me insane), would require a complete republish with a new ISBN and all new distribution rights. It's a LOT of money and not worth the additional 3 pages it adds. The map and glossary are free downloads on the store; go grab them! :)

There are a whole slew of unethical resellers on Amazon selling Exordium for sometimes as much as double the retail value, marked as “used”. These books are not actually used, but that marking means that I get zero royalties from the sale.
