Pochází z Brna, kde stále žije a nejspíš navždy žít bude. Odmalička čte, a čím je starší, tím čte víc. Miluje fantasy v jakékoli podobě — ať už knižní, filmové, nebo počítačově herní. Zároveň ale miluje sport a celý jeho život je spojen s baseballovým klubem Hroši Brno. Vystudoval tělesnou a občanskou výchovu na Masarykově univerzitě a učí na gymnáziu. Jeho láska k fantastice ho v posledních letech dohnala k vlastní tvorbě. Román Když padaly hvězdy (2021) je prvním dílem fantasy série Koruna snů.
