3 years of deep hardship to get this story out....

Started this novel twice

The overall concept of the novel began 6 years ago. I had been collecting up my scraps of writings with a clear picture of the direction I wanted it to shape into. I had written several short stories for a college course in England and had even won an award for one.

Once I decided to write Quantum Dawn - 'A Journey of Human Evolutionary Paths', my every waking moment was drenched with the construction of it's plot. Visualizing the story came with such ease, the flow was organic and wildly exciting to write.

I had been in England for 10 years and came back to the United States with a few chapters in the roughest of drafts. But the story itself was still highly illuminated within my minds eye. Upon returning back home, life was not settled enough to make considerable progress toward completion. Although I wasn't making tangible progress, I was strengthening it's plot and it's characters through my feverish research at libraries, so in essence, not stagnating one bit.

The story had to come out!!

My journey to Washington State had an incident where I lost my backup external drives which contained my only copy of my rough draft that had begun in England.

I literally had to begin from scratch.

So I did. I started this novel again, by handwriting 3 chapters in a $2 notebook!!

It's been a journey to completion but worth all 3000 hours I put in to finish it.

Best regards,
