My first book!
I'm happy to release "My Revelations Journey: A Voyage of Discovery of Saint John's Travels in Time."
A voyage from St John's cave on Patmos Island to the Face of the Serpent.
I've listed this book as religious fiction and Bible Commentary, but a more accurate description would be narrative nonfiction. The book follows my journey as a musician and academic, from Australia to London and Turkey, then the Cave of the Seven Sleepers and Patmos Island.
Opera busking at Ephesus amphitheatre, Turkey, I went to the cave of the 7 Sleepers, where 7 men and a dog had slept for two hundred years, well documented in early Christian and Islamic texts. Long fascinated by Revelations, I took the boat to Patmos and Saint John's Cave of the Apocalypse.
The Queen's Annus Horribilus in 1992, then 1998's launch of the ISS had drawn me back to Revelations, where I began to see our modern history matching Saint John's Prophecy.
The Tribulation started with the Opium Wars, when the Sun-clad Woman, Victoria, fought the Dragon, China. The Apocalypse was WW2, when fight plains flew over the Agean Sea, and Armageddon was Hiroshima. The three Harvests were the French, Russian and Chinese Revolutions.
The Angel standing in the Sun was Malcolm X, and John F Kennedy spoke of sweet and bitter fruits of victory and Ashes in our Mouths. David Suzuki is the Angel from the East.
The New Messiah opened the Seven Seals with Wikileaks. The Antichrist was elected President of the USA, and unleashed one of the Last Seven Plagues.
Will this year see the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, in Belmarsh prison?
How long must we work for Peace until we get the Kingdom of Heaven, or the Thousand Years of Peace?
How did Saint John visit the future, who did he talk to when he was there? The Christian Brothers of Patmos might have been keeping Saint John informed, in Ancient Greek and Hebrew, of world events, and will probably continue to do so, until the Kingdom of God is reached.
