October Ryan was raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. She came out as a proud transgender woman in 2020 and is finally expressing her authentic self. Her debut novel, The Beginning of October: A Tale of Transgender Life & Love, was published in 2021 to overwhelmingly positive reviews. She writes and records music in her spare time and is a big fan of The Last Podcast on The Left and Taylor Swift.
