Marissa Yarrow lives in Colorado Springs with her spouse and two cats.

In the first grade, she picked up her first Stephen King book, and got in trouble for reading it in school. Ultimately, administrators agreed that she could read whatever she wanted as long as she didn't tell the other kids about it. So began her secret love. In these shadows, her own stories of ghosts and family trauma took root. Now, fruited like fresh mushrooms, they are ready for others to enjoy - at their own risk.

Until the Internet completely disappears, Marissa can be found on Instagram @marissayarrowauthor.

I loved so many parts of this book. The descriptions of how Asher's family becomes possessed by Fax News, conspirituality, and Twitter radicalization was so good and horrifying because of how real the slides into possession were. I also enjoyed the " ...more
