40 books for 99c? Yes please!
The Realm of Darkness boxset preorder is currently up on Barnes & Noble. Now, Nook isn't my favorite reading app and I'm not featured in this collection, but I do have the nook app on my phone for emergency reading purposes and I love a lot of the featured authors here. So please help them out and give yourself a surprise gift next October by pre-ordering Realm of Darkness here

Young Adult Week
Does anyone ever add books from Goodreads' lists? I'll admit I don't usually pay too much attention since my TBR is already an eternity long. Plus, most of the books I read are written by self published authors, and sadly Goodreads can't give them all the time I feel they deserve. So, here are a couple self-published YA books I recommend!
Elemental Outcast by Sean Fletcher
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
This is a fun YA Urban Fantasy trilogy. Lots of self-discovery for our main character, a bit of slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers clean teen romance, and ultimately an ending that I hope Fletcher uses to build another series, but it wraps up nicely on its own.
Mageborn by Dayne Edmondson
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
This was the book that started my self-published obsession. This one is more teen coming-of-age, learning about their magic stuff, but unlike the previous one, it's a High Fantasy. The stakes seem higher in High/Epic tales than Urban, and there is some minor character death that helps the main characters along on their journey.
Witch of Shadows by A.N. Sage
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
This series is still ongoing and got new covers since I read book one. I'm admittedly more attached to the original covers. The main character is a witch who falls for a witch hunter, and the romance is a bit higher than some YA readers are comfortable with, but it isn't explicit. Twisty and fun, you'll stay on your toes as you try to solve the original mystery and the new ones that you find along the way.
And, of course, ending this with a shameless plug of my book coming out this April.
Once Upon a Name: Tales of the Strange and Unusual
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
What’s in a name? Names have power, names have magic, names can set the course for a great destiny.
Once upon a time, twenty author friends accepted a challenge by a fairy tale name generator. Now, twenty new characters have adventurous tales to tell.
In this clean YA anthology, meet goddesses, empresses, countesses, wannabe sorceress apprentices, female leaders of wolf packs, and guardian frog sidekicks. Search for missing persons with a hunter turned detective. Swoon over the gypsy sultana who must prove she is fit to rule. Cavort with our demons, wraiths, and demigods and lose your soul to the Bone Marsh. Root for a genie’s freedom or bite your nails as you pray for the witch to get the spell right. And yes, feel your heart palpitate at unexpected romance.
Escape into our strange and unusual collection of short stories written by award-winning and up-and-coming authors. Join us in far-off lands and learn...what is in a name.
The preorder is up, the cover reveal is soon, and all profits are going to charity! With 20 authors, you're sure to find some you love and ultimately add new authors to your TBR.
