Jean DeFreese Moore began her fictional writing journey with a home school project involving her then thirteen-year-old granddaughter. What was meant to be a brief undertaking, God turned into a multi-year adventure. Jean received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Louisiana Tech University. She spent her career in the media relations office of the athletic department at Louisiana Tech University, where she was able to use her talent in desktop publishing and graphic design. Her writing began in high school where she was awarded membership into Quill and Scroll, a National Honor Society for high school journalists.
