I think Hoid only shows up for a very small bit in the mistborn series. It's my favourite trilogy. You get to know him properly in Way of Kings but he pops in everywhere.

I have Steelheart on my Kindle and I'm hoping to get to it this year, fingers crossed. Looking forward to chatting with you around GRs! =DPS - GRs is so wierd - if you reply to people on your own wall, then they don't get notified. But if you reply on their on walls, then they do get notified. Just wanted to give you a heads up because I did the same thing. :)

I'd highly recommend anything Brandon Sanderson.
