Albert Einstein
“My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.”
Albert Einstein

Cormac McCarthy
“He believed in God even if he was doubtful of men's claims to know God's mind. But that a God unable to forgive was no God at all.”
Cormac McCarthy, Cities of the Plain

Jeffrey Lent
“He doubted the hand of God but did not discount it - discarding only the God of the pulpit and the pious.”
Jeffrey Lent, Lost Nation

Cormac McCarthy
“When we're all gone at last then there'll be nobody here but death and his days will be numbered too. He'll be out in the road there with nothing to do and nobody to do it to. He'll say: where did everybody go? And that's how it will be. What's wrong with that?”
Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Albert Einstein
“Capitalism as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals. In such an economy, the means of production are owned by society itself and are utilized in a planned fashion.”
Albert Einstein, Why Socialism?
