In her years on planet Earth, Maree Cemini Church has worn many hats: mom, teacher, management consultant, business owner, Italian wine importer, and servant to any number of dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, and even a neighbor's horses. A self-identified dilettante always looking for her next big thing, there was one constant in her life: from her earliest days she was fascinated with Italy, the homeland of her grandparents. More than twenty years ago she and her husband took their first trip there, and this event changed their lives forever. In 2010 they bought an old stone farmhouse in a small hill town in Le Marche where they lived for most of the next decade. Local Paper Reviews Dog Days In Italy

I was so excited to see a review of my book in the local newspaper. I sure feel like this writer picked up on the tone of the book. It is a humorous romp through the land of pasta and pizza told with a dash of wit, a splash of sarcasm, and an overabundance of poetic license.
